This group of instructors will comprise CTC’s 11th cohort of educators who gather to reflect on, curate, and share teaching experiences and resources. The “Teaching Leadership” group seeks instructors from PK-12 and higher education who teach leadership, broadly defined, in their courses, whether as a single unit, topic, or course theme.
Not sure if your idea fits? Don’t hesitate to reach out to CTC for guidance!

What to expect
Each participant will
Create a reflective case study (1000-1500 words) about teaching leadership content that will be published on the Cleveland Teaching Collaborative’s academic blog.
Case studies could also include examples of service learning, community engagement, or extracurricular leadership activities.
Authors are encouraged to be creative with content and format. Past case studies have included visual narratives, podcasts, video recordings and more. The Spring 2024 case studies will contribute to ongoing campus and community-wide discussions about teaching leadership in the Cleveland area.
Interested instructors should submit an abstract of your proposed case study (250 words max). Proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis. Honorariums are available, with priority given to first-time case study authors. Please contact the CTC team with any questions: Dr. Shelley Rose (shelley.rose@csuohio.edu), Dr. Molly Buckley-Marudas (m.buckley67@csuohio.edu) or Marilyn Orseno (m.j.miller20@vikes.csuohio.edu).
